Liposuction is a surgical procedure in which fat is removed through small incisions. With liposuction, South Carolina plastic surgeon Dr. Ted Vaughn can remove stubborn deposits of fat from nearly any area of the body, restoring a slim, toned, and more attractive physique. Fat removal with liposuction is immediate, though results may take several weeks to be apparent.

CoolSculpting® is a nonsurgical treatment that freezes and kills fat cells to produce more desirable body contours. With this procedure, destroyed fat cells gradually release their deposits into the body, allowing them to be removed through the body’s natural elimination process. Fat treated with CoolSculpting does not disappear immediately but gently leaves the body over a several week period. This process is often assisted by exercise and diet.
